I’m reading Seth Godin’s book Tribes (We Need You to Lead Us) right now, and it really breaks down the difference between being a manager and being a leader.
This community is full of leaders—people who’ve built tribes. Tribes are all about groups of people connected to each other, to a leader, and to a shared idea.
PS: My big goal? I want to lead a tribe of people who are all about progress. Progress is universal, but let’s be real—it can feel pretty lonely when you’re working in a silo by yourself. I want to create a community where progress is visible and supported. We don’t have to do it alone.
Maybe this idea won’t work, but if I can find a small group of people willing to give it a shot, who knows what we could build together?
